Full Description
Leave your hotel at 4:45am and be above the city before the sun clears the Himalayan foothills. Trail 5 is the steady one — a real climb, but no scrambling — and it opens out onto the ridge just as the light arrives.
Breakfast is at the top: parathas, omelette, and as much chai as you want, looking down at Islamabad still half asleep.
Fitness
Moderate. If you can walk uphill for an hour without stopping, you will enjoy it.
