Things to do in

Dubai

Dubai runs on contrast. In one day you can ride to the top of the world’s tallest building, haggle for saffron in a 100-year-old souk, and watch the sun drop behind red desert dunes. The Marina and Downtown deliver the skyline the city is famous

It was personal, educational, fun and interactive! I loved seeing what they grow on the farm, the animals and how to cook an authentic Costa Rican meal. It was one of my favorite activities to do here so i can bring some of that pura vida back with me :)

Frequently asked questions

How many days do I need in Dubai?
Four to six days covers Downtown and the Burj Khalifa, a desert safari, the old town and souks, one beach or waterpark day, and still leaves room for a Marina evening.
When is the best time to visit Dubai?
November through March. Days sit around 25–30°C, which is when outdoor dining, beach clubs and desert camps are at their best. Summer is cheaper but very hot.
Is Dubai expensive?
It can be, but it scales. Metro rides, shawarma counters, public beaches and the souks cost very little; the price jumps come from beach clubs, brunches and five-star stays.
Do I need a visa for Dubai?
Many nationalities get a visa on arrival or a free short-stay stamp; others apply online in advance. Check your own passport rules before booking — they change fairly often.
What should I wear in Dubai?
Beachwear is fine at beaches, pools and resorts. In malls, souks and older districts, cover shoulders and knees. Mosques require covered arms, legs and a headscarf for women.
How do I get around Dubai?
The metro covers the main tourist spine (Marina → Downtown → Deira) and is cheap and clean. Taxis and ride-hailing fill the gaps; walking between districts is not practical in summer.
